Booking a senior session that actually delivers

• Book early. Senior season in Tampa runs heavy from March through May for spring graduations and August through October for fall portraits. The top photographers on this list book out three to six months ahead.
• Confirm campus access if you want on-campus shots. USF, UT, and some private schools have photography permit requirements. Your photographer should know the process — if they don't, you'll spend the session dodging campus security.
• Outfit count and time per look. A typical senior session is 60 to 90 minutes for one to two outfits, or 2 to 3 hours for full editorial with three or more outfit changes and multiple locations.
• Cap-and-gown logistics. Most schools provide caps and gowns for the photo session but want them returned. Your photographer should know the timing and the order pickup process.
• Gallery format. Senior galleries often get used for grad announcements, social posts, and printed albums. Make sure the package includes high-res files for print and web-sized files for social.
